Cladogram Maker ("we", "our", or "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our Service and how it is used. The cladogram tool itself processes all data locally in your browser. We do not operate servers that receive or store your cladograms or any content you enter into the tool.
2. Information We Collect Directly
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data on our own servers. The cladograms, names, traits, and any other content you create with the Service never leave your device.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us. In addition, third-party providers described below may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser when you visit the Service.
4. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

We do not operate our own analytics platform. Google AdSense may collect aggregate usage information as part of its ad-serving function, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You retain complete ownership of all cladograms you create. We have no access to your work and make no claims to it.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and advertising shown on the Service is not knowingly targeted at children.
10. International Users
The Service is accessible worldwide. Information collected by third-party providers such as Google may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, subject to those providers' own data protection practices.
